A Taste of New York: Brooklyn's Pizza

After we had our check up in our dentist last saturday, my family decided to eat at Brooklyn Pizza in their branch at Tomas Morato. There's a lot of restaurant surrounded but we choose Brooklyn Pizza. It's my first time to dine at their restaurant. This is also my first blog post about food so please bare with me that I can't describe the taste of the food we purchased.

As you enter the restaurant, on your left side you will see this big chalk board hang on the wall.

We had a Buffalo Wings to start our meal. The buffalo wings are spicy and there's a sour cream dip served together with the buffalo wings.


We tried their promo called the Free Pizza Day. Purchase any Queens or Brooklyn size pizza and get a free Manhattan Cheese or Pepperoni Pizza.

We order their Deluxe pizza. It has pepperoni, mushroom, black olives, onions, and green bell pepper as their toppings. I forgot what the size we ordered.

After we had our deluxe pizza, The Pepperoni Pizza came in. I find their Pepperoni Pizza sweet cheese that makes my craving satisfied and makes my tummy happy.

I find these light bulbs cute and artsy.

THE VERDICT

Brooklyn Pizza is somewhat new to me. If you are tired of eating the same pizza and looking for something new, you must definitely try eating at this restaurant! When I come back here, I'll try their other dishes. Their comfort room is cool too(Hint: One Piece). Again, there place is cozy and good place to hangout with your friends or family. For the service, we didn't wait too long.

Bloggers United 7 x Sunsilk Summer Fair

 Last Saturday May 10, Bloggers United teamed up with Sunsilk for their 7th installment. It was held at Metrotent, Metrowalk, Ortigas. Bloggers United 7 x Sunsilk Summer Fair features 50+ bloggers' booth where your favorite bloggers selling pre-loved and brand new items as well as sponsors' booth who have each exciting promos and gimmicks. Aside from shopping, you can have chance to meet and greet your favorite blogger. You can also join games prepared by the host of the event. Since blogging is my new hobby now, I surf the net if there's a group of bloggers or related to my hobby and this event came up. It was my first time to attend this kind of event and few of the bloggers I only know that time. I got curious about it so I search more about this event and I'm happy and excited that some of the bloggers I know is coming to the event.

Affordable fashion finds

Good day readers! So it's my first time to post in my blog and forgive my wrong grammars here. My first blog post is related to fashion. For me, fashion is how you dress up and style your self. It is also a way to express yourself. I got addicted to fashion just when I discover these stores selling high end street fashion clothes. They are direct importers of brands like Boy London, Givenchy, KTZ Clothing, Kesh Apparel, Supreme, Moschino, Hood By Air etc. These stores mostly sell clothes and accessories like bags, snap backs, shirts and pull overs or sweaters. Some of our famous Filipino celebrities today is wearing the stuffs that the stores are selling. Local Celebrity Manila, Androgyne Manila and Fudge Rock are the one I am describing to you guys. Check their links to know where they are located. Below are some photos that I took when I got a great time to drop by on one of the stores I mention. I use the ninja moves to took all these photographs because I don't if they are allowed or not hihi.

How to commute going  to Market Market?

From the North:

Option 1. From EDSA, ride a bus southbound to Baclaran or Ayala or take an MRT and go down at Ayala and look for the jeepney terminal (under MRT station) and ride those that are bound for Market Market (this might be hard to spot these days, though).

Option 2. From EDSA, ride a bus southbound to Baclaran or Ayala or take an MRT and go down at Ayala and look for the bus terminal of TheFort buses (at the gate of Forbes across Shell Station) bound for Fort Bonifacio. These are air-conditioned buses that go around Fort Bonifacio, ask to be dropped off Market Market.

Option 3. From EDSA, ride a bus southbound to Baclaran or Ayala or take an MRT and go down at Guadalupe. There are jeepneys in Guadalupe that are bound for AFP Housing and Fort Bonifacio Gate 3. You can ride either of the two, both of those routes pass by The Fort/Serendra. If your destination is by 3rd/5th Avenue, ride AFP Housing; if it's on the other side of the The Fort/Serendra (meaning along McKinley Parkway), ride Gate 3. In any case, both jeepney routes pass by Market Market.

Option 4. From the C5 area, ride an FX or jeepney going to Kalayaan Avenue and go down at the intersection of Kalayaan and C5. There are jeepneys bound for Market Market from that corner.

From the South: 

Option 1. From EDSA, ride a bus northbound to Fairview or Monumento or take an MRT and go down at Ayala and look for the jeepney terminal (under MRT station) and ride those with signboard McKinley-Fort-Bonifacio-Gate 2 that are bound for Market Market.

Option 2. From EDSA, ride a bus northbound to Fairview or Monumento or take an MRT and go down at Ayala and look for the bus terminal of TheFort buses (at the gate of Forbes across Shell Station) bound for Fort Bonifacio. These are air-conditioned buses that go around Fort Bonifacio.

Option 3. From EDSA, ride a bus northbound to Fairview or Monumento or take an MRT and go down at Guadalupe. There are jeepneys in Guadalupe that are bound for AFP Housing and Fort Bonifacio. You can ride either of the two, both of those routes pass by The Fort/Serendra. If your destination is by 3rd/5th Avenue, ride AFP Housing; if it's on the other side of the The Fort/Serendra (meaning along McKinley Parkway), ride Gate 3. In any case, both jeepney routes pass by Market Market.

If you are commuting to The Fort from the Makati area:

Option 1. There are jeepneys in the Ayala terminal (under MRT station) that are bound for Market Market. There are also jeepneys plying the Ayala route going to Market Market.

Option 2. There are also jeepneys passing along Pasong Tamo/Mantrade/WalterMart (along Pasay Road) that are bound for FTI. Ride the one that goes to Gate 3. From Gate 3 or end of Pasong Tamo Extension, there are jeepneys bound for Guadalupe, passing by The Fort.

Option 3. There are also jeepneys in Guadalupe that are bound for AFP Housing and Fort Bonifacio. You can ride either of the two, both of those routes pass by The Fort/Serendra. If your destination is by 3rd/5th Avenue, ride AFP Housing; if it's on the other side of the The Fort/Serendra (meaning along McKinley Parkway), ride Gate 3. In any case, both jeepney routes pass by Market Market.

If you are coming from the Manila/Caloocan area or near the LRT stations, the best way is to take the Light Rail Transit (LRT) and go down at the EDSA-Taft Avenue station, use the footbridge that connects the LRT station to the MRT station and then ride an MRT going to Ayala and follow the directions stated above (for taking MRT).

If you are in the Taguig or Paranaque area, ride a jeepney going to Nichols in Taguig, ask to be dropped off the Gate 3 - where the jeepney terminal to The Fort is located. From Gate 3 , there are jeepneys bound for Guadalupe, passing by Market Market.

Going around the Fort Bonifacio area is now easy through the use of CityLink buses and the electric tricycles.

For private vehicles: Market Market is just along the southbound side of C5 between Kalayaan Avenue (in Makati) and the C5/Nichols Exit. The area can also be accessed through EDSA northbound using either a) KalayaanAvenue b) McKinley Road going to Forbes by the Ayala corner or c) C5 flyover coming from Buendia. Parking is available on most buildings in The Fort as well as paved open lot parking spaces.

The area is already traffic-heavy during rush hours on normal days (due to the volume of cars going to Makati and SLEX) and expect bumper-to-bumper heavy traffic during Christmas season on both sides.

Of course, you can ride a taxicab from any area around the metro and just mention "Market Market", "Fort Bonifacio", "Serendra", or "High Street" and the driver already knows where to go.
